2006年 1 月21日舉行的 The 5th Element - Live Gig, 我們以 acoustic 形式玩了 5 首作品, 其中返玩了我們和客席結他手 King(Revolver) 都很喜歡的樂隊 Black Rebel Motorcycle Club 的早期作品 - Love Burns. 另外把 Pliant Bitterness 以一個滲進點點 Gospel 味道的形式玩出, 我們也覺得什為有趣.

名叫 Channel 89.
我跟阿雋曾為這頻道制作過 2 首 jingles,
而我制作的那首就是以下這新作的前身,
之後我把它加上旋律後便成為完整的歌曲.
在未有歌名下且暫定名為 "eighty nine" 吧 !

實情是我的舊DV 機已壞了兩年多，
所以一直無法把演出片段匯入電腦內，
但最近它卻離奇地復正常運作, 那還要坐着等嗎？
便快快動身開始影片匯入的龐大工程.

A Little Pure Water

A Little Pure Water 這首作品是在今年年初灌錄的, 由創作, 錄音到混音在約十天內完成, 我們更首次嘗試在接近現場一 take 過的方式收錄, 挺好玩的 !

歌曲刻意用上 The Beatles 的 Hey Jude 其中的 4 個和弦, 內裡當然是有特別的意思.

這首歌曲將不會作官方形式的推出, 原因她是送給我們的一對朋友.

沼澤和朋友們 《變形記》The Metamorphosis

“不斷的徘徊，不斷的重複，沒完沒了，永無止境。
這是我們對這首歌的第一幅畫面，也是唯一，跟著它轉成可聽得見的音樂，就變成這樣子。
轉存了一個畫面、沖映了一個印象、分享了一刻情緒，感覺相當不錯，多謝。“

這就是總括了我們重玩 沼澤 的《逃...夜色霓虹》的感覺了. 一次事前沒有預期, 最後卻變成這樣子的作品, 一次不一樣的 the Pliable.

還有, 這首歌曲有一特別之處, 就是主唱的角色由鼓手 阿威 擔任.

當日我們是擔任 The Dummy 的暖場樂隊, 同場還有 Slept in spray, 第一次看他們的演出, 玩奏是類似 Sigur Rós 式的 post rock 音樂.
接著到我們的演出, 玩奏了近期積極排練的新作《Primary Game》, 亦玩出了很久沒有 full band 形式演出的 《Explorer#3》.
這次 The Dummy 的演出配合了 Y-Space 舞蹈團的舞步, 一次很有心思的演出.

One On Ten LIVE @ Fringe Club (8 Sep 07)

當晚, 威暫且從鼓手的位置退下來, 在台下充當觀眾, 而我和雋二人便以電子手法把 the Pliable 的作品玩出, 加上客席結他手容京(Revolver)的一手特別 tuning 的結他, 感覺相當奇妙. 一點兒遺憾的是原先準備為 BFSH 玩出一首 REM 的作品, 因演出時間緊迫而被迫刪掉, 但相信日後總有機會玩出的.

Rufus Wainwright

對於來自加拿大的唱創人 Rufus Wainwright, 我絕對是後知後覺的一群. 其實在1999年他發表第二張專輯《poses》, 在媒体上得到頗高的評價時, 也牽起了我對他作品的興趣, 只是在不了了之下沒有再繼續去找他的作品, 直至 Pet Shop Boys 最近推出的場錄音專輯《Concrete》, 一曲 《Cassanova in Hell》交由 Rufus 演譯後, 我便被他的嗓音迷住了. 我是一個很小為一把聲音而喜歡上一位歌手或樂隊的人, 原因或許 Rufus 的嗓音跟 Andy Yorke(Unbelievable Truth), Fran Healy (Travis) 有一點點的相像吧.

值得一提是 Rufus Wainwright 將會在 5 月 15 日發表他的全新專輯《Release the Stars》.
